Affected Lives Within Your Lifetime

Affected Lives Within Your Lifetime

A Poem by B-poet

How many lives can you affect

In your own lifetime

The reward remains defined

As a voluntary tread mill climb

To give back to humanity

For the sake of normality

Gaining formal relate-able subtlety

Within every community

Needs to be done

In a more timely fashion

Leveling out the social grid

Consciously

Are a group of influential

Gearing minds of peer advocates

Pushing to create a special symbolized

Compromising social banner

Where peace will become an uplifting

Experience for all people

Who've been seeking it out

The preservation of self

Needs to be promoted

Not by the less fortunate

But by the affluent blessed individuals

In this life

i AGREE WITH tRIGORIN... PERHAPS LET THE POEM SIMMER ON THE BACK BURNER FOR A WHILE AND OOPS sorry hit caps inadvertently--- anyway come back to it when your fire re-ignites because you had it going on there

Not bad, but I do think the ending was a little lackluster, to be honest with you. It just didn't have the oomph that was expected after the whole build-up and it just seems to peter off a little. As for the content, it's very good, and I like your style of writing, it's just that ending leaves much to be desired.
