(Poem #60 The Spiritual Valley Overslaugh)

(Poem #60 The Spiritual Valley Overslaugh)

A Poem by B-poet

By being anointed

By the spiritual

Rather than the physical

To gain access to these

Aspects of life

You’re going to have too pass

A random series of tests

To prove if your worthy enough

For inheriting the heavenly not earthly kingdom at hand

Chosen destiny or not

So you can withstand

The overall plot

Regarding the pathway you’ve taken

What’s at fault

Is

What’s at stake

Trying to relieve the pressure

From within somehow

Maybe by suggesting that

Your own keepsakes

Should try to fight and win in

A contest

Where leaving oblivion

Was out of the question

As well as

A never ending situation

That should foster more miracles to happen

In the land of the dead and broken

"What’s at fault Is What’s at stake"
~ the reality of fact... which is very much true... maybe because our fault is what we most treasured for it makes us strive for the better us...
"In the land of the dead and broken"
~ a strange land indeed, but not too far from our own...

as always mr. B your poem is much of a intriguing as its insightful...
brilliant!

I am with Claire--"An intriguing poem, that leaves me with more questions than answers." This is not necessarily a bad thing . People should occasionally be provoked into thinking for themselves, exploring paths for themselves, finding answers for themselves.

An intriguing poem, that leaves me with more questions than answers. I'm not sure if this is about the universal quest for spirituality/heaven , or some other unnamed quest. Either way, I'd like to know what's the incentive in this quest! And where is this strange land?
