Of affliction

I’ve learned

We need to heal

To carry on traditions

Veering towards the reasons

Why personal bonds need to be strengthened

Not to mention

The friendly faces

In relation to nostalgia

Remain a safe haven

To comfort the spirit

In times of lonely despair

Healing and becoming whole again

Is why we need to prepare

For the dark days

Life decides to share

During times of travesties

That try to conquer and prevail

Over humanity

Yet if we survive the ordeal

The healing process will clearly

Help shed new skin

Leaving behind a stronger person

Ready to win in any given situation

An endeavor that serves as a third wheel
