Spiritual Adaptation

Spiritual Adaptation

A Poem by B-poet

What cross is left to bear

When the aftermath of the storm

Made it clear

To rebuild you must destroy

A process that seems contrary

Yet it’s the norm

For human nature

Conforming to the elements of gravity

As it pertains to the living

Represents the sanctity

Of our terrain within society

To know this

You must forgo this experience

In the making

What I’m truly saying

Is what I questioned in the beginning

What cross is left to bear

Once you choose to stop sinning

Against humanity

Very deep poetry... touches very important topics for humanity and above all teaches us very important lessons to coexist

wow this is f*****g awesome. I wrote something very very similar, I almost wonder if you have read it and perhaps something stuck. Surely we may have just have a similar way of believing.. and evolving.
I really like how it all rhymes even though there are like one or two rhythmical hiccups, it all stays very "together" and there are no useless words.
This is a great poem, not only because it is written well but the beauty of the thoughts you are conveying outweigh most other things, in my opinion, that there are to write about.

Such a well discribed piece dear friend, of science, hurt, and all what goes together within the storm of mother nature. Sometimes, it's fated, as it can clean up, in good or bad... excellent.

I really like your depiction of human nature's dualities and contradictions...the proverbial Human Condition, if you will...taking one step towards harmony before taking two steps back...a poignant personal take on a universal theme...well done :)
