Vague Account of My Essence

Vague Account of My Essence

A Poem by B-poet

As the murky morning fog clears

Who will be near

To witness

How to disassociate with the thought

Of me becoming dead weight

I choose to alleviate the grips of a disclosed fate

Relating to my new testament

In regards to having faith in

Ending the bewilderment amongst the dark clouds

Of the dark side

It’s hard to hide from becoming desensitized

When the scope of oblivion

Shapes my existence and family origin

A cycle that keeps repeating itself

Where the curse of lost wealth

Has been passed down to inherited descendants

While the legacy of the aforementioned

Will remain in tact

The fact that my heredity has remained a mystery

After my obituary column was lost at sea

An accidental drowning on a cruise ship

Claimed my life unfortunately

While I was reading it

The vague account of my essence

Perceived a notion that was hard to believe

It was so true

That my presence was too vague to see

From the very beginning

I'm enjoying your work. Very deep writings with much to deliberate. One note on this poem - second to last line... switch your to and too "That my presence was too vague to see"
Grammar police is out :)

I'm shocked that nobody has commented on this yet...it's brilliant, from the title to the ironic (in my interpretation) final line. Awesome^^
