Seasons of Change

Seasons of Change

A Poem by B-poet

In the Fall

I learned to crawl

As I came into the world

A beginner

So when the following Winter

Approached

I was in awe of what I could become within society's reality

Then in the Spring

I grew a little taller and began listening

To ways and trends of the living

While peeking in through the door of infinite opportunities

So maybe later

I could spread my wings

Fly away and eventually become somebody

But then finally Summer decided

To show itself and reign supreme

Because the chance to become illustrious had perfect timing

Nicely done.

I've always been obsessed with the seasonal cycle and have written a few things about it myself, but I really like this one...a very interesting take on the seasons :)
