Finally alive

Finally alive

A Poem by Azure

She struggles everyday
with a pain that never fades away
At  night the nightmares plague her
she can't trust it , was  beaten out of her
she   had her childhood stolen
Never a moment that was golden
Forced to grow up at age eight
she began to live a life of fear and hate
their was soo much pain
she was slowly going insane
The flash of a blade
it was her only aid
No one notice her wrist were now Blood stained
No one cared that she felt as if she were chained
that she felt more like a pet than a child
That she felt nothing  even when she smiled
They saw what they wanted
Th perfect little women even though mentally she was haunted
By the pain of her past
the whisper of blood was consuming her soul fast
on a cold halloween  night
after a nasty one sided fight
She Drank her pain
Hoping  as her tears fell like rain
she wouldn't survive
the bleach burned her throat her stomach yet still she was "alive"
as it burned she finally realized
that you can't kill something that has already died
the wounds on her wrist opened and poured out all the lies
She cried herself to sleep half-hoping she dies
but angel must have watched her strife
Because  When she awoke she was Finally Free and  Alive
