Pain By SightA Chapter by Azura
Black
Amongst the valleys That lead through the light. The ones sworn to kindness, The ones sworn to sight. Dark Says their souls, Praying for the light, But evil overcomes them Swaying wrong to right. Wicked The light they undergo Swearing to secrecy, A light as one that's not, One I clearly see. Vivid Is the aura Of a darkened unpure soul. Vicious is the underlings Praying for control. Life is yet unsettled, Dark mists upon the world. The truth is soon to speak As darkness is unfurled. Shattered Goes the heart, Breaking at the seam, Clawing at the underchest, Makes you want to scream. Teary Goes your eyes For pain is clear at night, When light dies down to none And you feel that tortured bite. Those screams Across the horizon, Claiming wordless pain, Forever lonesome to your own, Mind sends you insane. Screaming Forever will do no good, Though harm does naught to end. For will is one you cannot claim, And fortune shall not bend. Ever Will you stand alone And alone you'll one day die, This ending will not change, my dear, No matter you might cry. Feel These words Across your skin, Burning for your kiss, Claw across your lightless skin To never feel such bliss. Pray For those around you to Sing a lullaby, Never gently sleep again Until the day you die. Harsh words Will be your home, One day you'll understand Why past these thoughts you know Still lend A helping hand.
