Her Lost Soul

Her Lost Soul

A Poem by Azriel
"

After a long time, a piece about her lost soul.....

"

I fear the winds as it might blow her essence away,

And the rain as it might wash it.

Deep within my heart her thoughts, heavy’s it,

Only her memories stay locked in it.

Felt her heart as she took her last breathe,

Taught me to live on a world of shadows.

Now everyday seems grey, as I grieve for her presence,

Her grave became a place of shrine,

Now I weep for her lost soul.

A sad poem. We will grieve for things lost and cannot be found no-more. I liked the emotion and the flow of thoughts leading to strong ending. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

It is beautiful, as always. One thing I would say though I'd to keep an eye on the rythm, it seems a bit disturbed. You might want to experiment with iambic rythm?

This is amazing, though. Keep writing!
