Light

The light it bends

And hurts my face

It blinds my eyes

Tries to erase

The things I've seen

The things that ached

It tries to fix

My heart that breaked

The other senses

Sharpen now

I see the dark

And wonder how

I let it go

All too far

Nobody can wreck

Who we are

Light is a source of hope also. It awakens us to the possibilities that allows our soul to find happiness in who we are. Light shows us the way to find out who we are in this world and hopefully to find happiness. I have always seen that beautiful light that shines from you. Don't let other people or past experiences define who you are. I believe you are a wonderful loving granddaughter with a beautiful shining light.
