Lock and Key

Lock and Key

A Poem by Kaelee Wyant

White walls with

The faces looking through

How would you feel

If it were you

Your closing in

And I can't take

I think

I'll finally break

I need some space

I need some time

No I didn't

Commit a crime

I'm losing it

You're losing me

Keeping me under

Lock and key

Yes I am hurt

That's why I am

So hard to

Understand

Through everything

You're never there

But do you

Even care

oooooh! This has potential, but, again, if I may be so bold, it's needs some touching up in order for its gold to shine. The musicality especially. and then a couple of grammatical and spelling technicalities too.

But terrific start! Much enjoyed!
