Sinner

Sinner

A Poem by Azif

Holding on

But it's getting thinner

Nowadays people are just eager to call you a sinner

Yes I lie Yes I want to die

But I just wanna be high

In the name of God

They say he's there

In time of need and despair

If you look close enough

But I've been looking to the point I turned numb

And I feel that I loose myself with every breathe I use

To say I'm a believer

If I have never

Love

Lived

Lost

Who am I to speak to in the name of God?

So go ahead call me a sinner

Because I shall remain one until I can feel something within her...

There were some lines where you could've modified it to give your poem a better rhythm. I loved the content about an uncertainty in faith, I don't see many poems written about this so it's a refreshing read. The last line confused me though. "Until I feel something within her", is that a woman or a Goddess?
