Late At Night

Late At Night

A Poem by Arizona Hidalgo-Crowe

Late at night when everyone is fast asleep,

I'm awake and watching the stars,

the stars are shining bight in the night sky,

Dreaming with excitement while standing in the moonlight,

wish the time would slow down just for tonight,

my energy slips away as realize the time,

I'm preparing for bed late at night,

taking one last glance at the night sky before I close my eyes,

Late at night when I'm finally fast asleep,

I'm dreaming as the moonlight shines in my room,

It's time for everyone to sleep now,

No more talking...Just silence,

As I end this poem late at night, I have 2 last words to share,

those words are Good Night.
