My First Time Hearing About Sonic.exe

My First Time Hearing About Sonic.exe

A Story by Arizona Hidalgo-Crowe

A while back when I was still living in my parent's house, I was just getting into the horror trend. One night when I was hanging in my room, I decided to watch some gaming horror videos. While searching on YouTube, I stumbled upon a video called Top 10 Video Game Urban Legends uploaded by Watchmojo. I was like "Huh that sounds like a great gaming horror video to start with." Since I had a smart TV in my room, I pulled it up on there so I could see the video better. I'm a big fan of Sonic The Hedgehog, so I was surprised to see a story from that franchise on the list. However, I was excited to hear about the Sonic.exe creepypasta. "Maybe this would be more fun to watch with the lights off." I thought to myself while watching the video. So, I turned off the lights to make it more interesting. Unfortunately, It made me more scared of Sonic.exe than anything. When they first showed Sonic on the video, I didn't think much of it. However, I was surprised when I saw what they were talking about. The music as well as Sonic's evil laugh scared me quite a bit. It scared me to the point where I couldn't sleep for a few nights. All I wanted to do is hear more about Sonic.exe even though I was scared out of my mind because of just that small portion of Watchmojo's video. I should mention that I've since then gotten used to watching things like that, and I do more often than I used to.
