God Bless the Queen

God Bless the Queen

A Poem by Azeezah Awal

GOD BLESS THE QUEEN!

PART I

Tens of thousands of banners can be seen,

For the admiration of Her Majesty, The Queen!

Rejoice for our Monarch's Platinum Jubilee,

Remember the years of her justice and nobility!

And on this day, together we shall pray again:

Glorified be the years of her majestic reign.

From the Trafalgar, Red and Lafayette Squares,

With our undying love and earnest prayers,

We thank Her Majesty with joyful tears,

For this glorious service of seventy years!

With the lighting of beacons, we sing along-

Saluting the Queen God had saved for long!

We rejoice for the righteousness of Her Majesty,

Who honored God's trust and faithful morality,

And remained sinless through all human adversity,

Braving against tides of storm and solemnity!

And so, we sing praises for The Queen's purity-

And celebrate with joy, her Platinum Jubilee!

Thousands of beacons are flown this day,

From the cliffs of Dover to isles far away

These lamps are lit over this pristine territory,

For the Queen who reigns with honor and glory!

PART II

This Queen upheld England's Christian pride,

From her Blessed Coronation on a winter tide!

God let us forever serve this Queen,

And protect her from the danger's unseen.

The Queen honored laws of justice and integrity,

Upholding the Almighty's commands entirely-

The pride of womankind, the patron of mercy,

Our charitable Queen is an icon of chastity:

We salute This Defender of the Faith and Morality,

Long live her glory and honored be Her Majesty!

God let us prosper and offer eternal courtesy,

To the laws of England and obey Her Majesty!

Long last the grandeur of her saintly command,

As the Supreme chieftain of the Church of England!

PART III

Oh, Leader of our England and Guardian of this isle,

May God eternally bless your honorable smile-

And protect your years from all tyrant's eyes,

And grant you a greater realm with every sunrise!

And God keep fidelity forever as our fuel-

And Bless us long with our Monarch's rule!

These lines may be but a poet's humble tribute,

Millions more have raised their hands in salute,

To the regal monarch who protected this land,

Selfless and fearless in this faithful command-

God keep the monarch atop England's throne,

To forever guide Britain through paths unknown.

The English colors adorns the peak of every school,

Whose unselfish laws furnish the world's legal rule.

Upon our God and Sovereign, we place our trust,

Knowing that English laws are good and just!

Defender of the poor, the helpless and the plain,

Oh, long and fruitful be the Majesty's reign!

PART IV

Royal ships anchoring and sailing with pride,

Had defended liberty over every rising tide!

The world's hapless outcasts and this continent's poor,

Found refuge always at England's gracious door.

A kingdom faithful to freedom, justice and liberty,

Britain alone stood against deceit and tyranny,

Defending the purest laws of a righteous Lord,

English courts uphold the morality of the world-

Never shall any raider corrupt these moral ways,

Which English soldiers defended to their final days:

Alien conquerors never could breach these pristine shores,

Nor the corrupt Godless fiends mar the English moors;

Not Napoleon's hordes nor the Nazis crossed our Channel-

And a sovereign England lingered forever in history's annals.

For the dauntless valor Britain's defenders had shown,

Forever have God protected our England's throne!

Invaders of this isle's sovereignty would dearly pay,

Should they decide to hunt, hurt or prey-

Cursed be those enemies who attempt to enslave-

Plunder or defile this isle of the brave!

May the soul of our foe burn in his grave,

And those of his comrades perish in their enclave.

Traitors who encroach our land and pretend-

To be a patriotic counsel and a loyal friend,

No patron will he know, no helper in tow,

For English subjects have- and forever will know,

The truth from falsehood, the right from wrong-

And Justice shall prevail in this land of the strong.

Foreheads high, drumbeats loud, we challenge the enemy,

Those godless elements sinning in worthless anarchy-

Villains seeking destruction of our faith and morality,

Attempting to diminish the English aristocracy:

Never will the sinful adversary drive us from our homes,

For the wrath of our God shall perish them in their tombs.

And while the flames of terror seize the faithless in their sleep,

May their depravity and their sins perish forever to the deep.

Forever may they suffer in the pits of the eternal flame:

For every soul that is godless- may their end be the same!

May this God keep us sinless with unmolested chastity,

And save us from being subjected to scant immorality-

God let England's sovereigns with truth and justice rule-

May they uphold pious laws, and defend the religious school.

The men, women and children must rejoice in knowing-

That God shall save England's thousand-year reign.
