American Babylon

American Babylon

A Poem by Azazelon

Hollywood came along for a ride
It's heaven driving through hell
Muted angels wishing us well
Babylon is on my side.

It's an addicts dream outside
Hungry, hunting, screaming for a dance,
Melting me down with a casual glance.
How many of you actually try?

It' s an American Babylon baby,
Build your towers from ash.
What I wanted to be didn't save me
Spill your disease until I crash.
It's what you needed to see.
