Doomsday in the digital ageA Poem by Adam WeemsI wrote this as a sort of mirror image over our society in the past few years, the art of debunking and investigating is a dying breed because if you see it on the internet or tv it must be true.
Media masses have caused the people to contract a severe illness
Now we are slowly descending into madness While the whole world is burning down So much killing and blood spilling, not even the holy can tear away the sound And my dear oh how i fear the pain will be profound I believe this is revelation, the apocalypse in the digital age I doubt you notice the sensation when you and death lock lips Unaware of your own cage and you'll fuel the ever growing desire To pretend to not be a liar, light up and become higher So you can alter the perspective that the worlds not on fire But now you have to give in, as your family and friends fade Your body is going numb You shouldn't have picked technology over love.
