When you're left behind, it hurts. But not as bad as when it happens over and over again.

Once again I am left behind,
By those I hold so dear;
Why must we always move on?
Why must we never stay here?

Days go by and no reply,
I'm losing all hope here,
Losing you one more time,
Would be worse than hateful jeers.

You think I don't mind, don't you?
Think I'm fine with the moving around?
You don't give me care nor thought,
Until I make a sound.

Obviously, I was mistaken,
For that I apologize;
You are not the friends I once knew,
Nor are you better people now.

Maybe I'm just being melodramatic,
Maybe I have a point.
But my haze-bound insecurities pivot 'round each other,
Same as a ball and joint.

Allow me a brief moment for explanation.
If you have ever visited my profile, I said I did wolf RP. Which, I indeed do. Though I thoroughly enjoy it, the people I encounter through chats leave many marks and bruises on my heart. A large scar now resides there, from when I was left behind by those I considered dearer than anyone else. As this has happened quite often in that one particular pack, I finally decided to leave. It hurt, and still hurts, but I know I can't give my heart away like that anymore.
