Scale of Justice

Pretty self explanatory, with the title. Like a judgment of fate

You get to have all the fun

Until you are the guilty one

Devoted to speaking only the truth

A promise you'd made in your youth

For the judgment you will wait

To discover your decided fate

What it is, no one may know

'Tis something only the scale will show

The scale of justice as well as fate

Knows your whole life, no debate

You shall get what you deserve and more

Your punishment to settle the score

Rhyming is sheesy, or at leat I think it is, but my poetry doesn't seem the same without it. So it's here to stay.

It was pretty neat.
I know what you mean about the whole rhyming thing.
There are very few poems where I don't rhyme.
