A betrayed love

A betrayed love

A Poem by A'Zead
"

A poem about a broken hearted boy

"
I put it out for anyone's use,
Guess who took it for granted,
Begins with y and ends with u,
You're caught and now you're frantic.
Tried your best to fix it up,
To make it pretty once more,
But again you drop it; pieces are scattered,
It's now sick and without cure.
You finally admit defeat,
And see there's no use trying,
Now you waste your days sitting at home,
Drinking your bottle and crying.
Me? I couldn't care a whole lot less
About your sad and brittle form,
I'm broken and shattered, no life in my eyes,
I'm beyond broken and torn.
A boy and a boy who still share one love,
Betrayed and guilty no less,
Had distanced themselves from one another,
Their minds, hearts and souls not at rest.

sad losing ones love to a bottle.
I like the way you convey the loss the way you have given up on trying with the partner as they liked the bottle. a deeply written emotion piece, well done
good luck in my competition. thanks for entry as well.
