the first love

the first love

A Poem by MadeCheaply
"

A poem dedicated to all mothers

"
when a child is born,
they know nothing but breath
it is the way life is
the cycle of birth and death
but the natural draw
the feel of no other
is almost a command
when a child is with their mother
they don't love God
they dont love earth
the love the one
who gave them their birth

mmm I dedicate this to my mother who is doing so great lately in recovery and her classes. As well as all of the mother figures in my life and any mother out there. ^^
Also my second mom Jane! I love you!

After seeing my meager review, I have decided to leave a more detailed one. So here I go:

You have a way with words. In a sense, your poetry is like a song. It truly brings motherhood into the beautiful light it deserves.

This was wonderful to read; really uplifting to the spirit, and speaks true of mothers and all they give. They give to us from their bodies (when they're carrying us and when we're born), they give to us from their hearts (when we're little and have a nightmare, or scrape our knee), and they give to us from their spirit (when we are grown and need their support.) Very wonderful job = ]
