Something's Happened!!

SOMETHING’s HAPPENED!!
Scene: A body lying on the floor with face down. Door opens suddenly. Danny, boy of age 10 enters. After staring at the body for a few minutes.
Danny: MOM, MOM, MOM there s a man on the floor. He seems to be sucking the carpet. Don’t you dare blame me if his drool leaves a spot.
His elder sister, Sarah enters.
Sarah: MOM, someone is dead here. Call the ambulance. Call the police. Do something.
Then she faints.
Danny: MOM, now Sarah is drooling on the carpet too. You had best come and see the evidence.
Their mom comes shouting at the children
Mom: What is going on here? Can you two not fight without bringing me into the picture? I ll give you both a whack on the butt and then let s see who s talking.
She Enters the room.
Mom: HONEY, HONEY come quick. Looks like the children have done something horrific at last.
Her husband is in his study dealing with some insurance papers.
Husband: WHAT HAVE THEY DONE? Is it insured? If it is, don’t call me again.
Mom: No its not insured.
Husband comes to the room.
Husband: What the hell is going on here? What is this Mona? Are you having an affair behind my back? Then trying to steal the poor fellow s money for your shopping and dumping him on my carpet and then blaming on the kids? Don’t you have any values? Where are your ethics, woman?
Wife: What in heaven s are you talking about? Are you accusing me of an affair? Is that because you are having one? Who is she? Is she prettier than me? What is the meaning of this? Is this marriage over? I want a divorce!!
Danny: Mommm.. Dad… why are you shouting here? I am trying to play (some car game) here. Its disturbing my concentration.
By then, Sarah wakes up.
Sarah: You people are always like this. You don’t care about me. You are always supporting Danny. You don’t care about my life.
She starts wailing miserably.
There is lot of commotion and screaming in the house.
Man on the floor gets up.
Man: THAT S ENOUGH!!
What is wrong with you people? Cant you have some respect for someone on the floor? You all are so involved in your selves and your lives, that you don’t care for another soul. Happiness is achieved not by making yourselves exemplary but by putting forth your lives for others. That is the measure of the true soul.
The family members realize their mistake.
Family members: We are all sorry. We understand better now.
Father: You must be seriously injured. I’ll call the ambulance.
Man: Oh there is no need for it.
Wife: Why not? You must be hurt.. why else would you be lying on the floor?
Man: Oh that.. Well I was on my way to Carolina. Got tired in between. Saw your place the with the window open. Climbed in. The carpet looked promising. So just had my afternoon nap!!
