The BoxA Chapter by AynsleyAfter the game, Hamish jogged over to meet me. "We won!" He cheered. Grabbing me and spinning me around. " I can see" I laughed, smiling up at him. I gave him a peck on the cheek. "But are you forgetting something?" I erged. He thought for a moment. Then placed his hand in his pocket, then slowely took it out to reveal a lovely wooden box. "What's in it?" I glanced. He shook his head. "It's a suprise, take a look for yourself!" He carefully placed the box in my hand. I was so excited to see what he had got me this time, he loved giving me gifts, one time he gave me a pearl necklace worth about $1,000. That was the happiest day of my life. I traced the curves of the box with my fingers, feeling the texture of the wood, and the engravements on it. Finally I opened it up and inside lying on sheer white silk was a golden ring, decorated with crystals of all sorts. At this point in time, Hamish kneeled down on his knee and smiled. "Will you marry me Eva?" His eyes glistening, and his grin white and wide. "Ofcourse Hamish!" I gaped, looking at the ring. Hamish then took the ring from the box and slid it onto my finger. It fitted perfectly. "It's lovely." I sniffed, tears of joys forming in my eyes. He placed his hand on my cheek, and leaned closer and kissed my lips softly. His kiss was so romantic and I didn't want to ever let go of him. I put my arms around his neck and kissed him back fully. I couldn't believe I had just agreed to marry him, we were only 16, but I love him so much, I don't care how long it will take until we can get married. For now, he is 100% mine, and I love him. I put a finger to his lips and leaned closer to whisper to him. "I love you." I smiled, wrapping my arms around his waist. His scent filled the space around us, he smelt of pepperment and lilly. It was the best smell ever. "I love you too." He replied back, over joyed. I pulled further away so I could see his face. I took his whole look in. His hair, his beautiful sparkling eyes, his full lips. He was perfect, he was handsome and he was devilishly sexy. I smiled at the thought. "Lets go somewhere." I laughed, dragging him along with me. "Where?" "It's a suprise." I teased. © 2010 AynsleyReviews
