CLAUSTROPHOBIA

CLAUSTROPHOBIA

A Story by Ayesha wani

They come in your life and slowly and slowly cage your heart until it is completely imprisoned inside. Then one day, they go away with the key. Claustrophobia . That's the only thing that you feel . You want to get rid of the chains , of all the roots that hold you to that person. But you can't. With each sunset, it gets dark in there. There are times when you can't breathe, times when your eyes give up on crying and times when you feel weak and helpless and betrayed. But after every sunset, there is a sunrise coming up. And right when you see the sun, when you feel the warmth, you let go. You let go of everything. You start seeing the small glint of light . That small ray of hope that everything is going to be fine. No hate, no love, no care. Just indifference. Things fall into place. And verily , the heart is set free.

Brilliant! How precisely you have captured the essence of the feelings and emotions in both ways- when twisted in agony and when smiling with hope. Glad you gave the vibrant optimism in the end.
Thanks a lot for sharing. Keep writing more.
