Satisfaction reached

Satisfaction reached

A Poem by Aya
"

for the sake of being truthfully happy

"
For the ones who feel less
those who can't be impressed
are always grasping for more
and looking up for their endless desires
running fast after life that will leave them lonely
but if they dare or bare to see whats right down their feet
that's when they shall find whats way better than their shallow dreams.

a beautiful life full of love and good friendship
was waiting to be discovered
when they saw they stopped asking for anything else.
what they have always had
what they have got
is a world's worth of accomplishments.

if all thought this way
everybody would be pleased
and satisfaction would be reached.

wonderful poem but as you said (if)! it is really strange that we may be having what we need between our hands but we still dont feel it is what we really want. human being is a really greedy creature whose eyes can be filled only with dust. and as it was said, feeling satisfaction is an endless treasure but how many of us already have got this treasure?im sure only very few of us have it!
thank you for the nice poem..

Nice work. Everyone has different idea of satisfaction. It is being truly content that can give it but as khalid has pointed out, we humans are greedy enough to be content!

Thanks
great poem, could use some polishing, the way its written reminds me of a story, or someone shouting at the wind praying to be heard

Deciding my glass was half full was the best decision I have ever made. Wonderfully written poem, and inspiring insights into the mind of a truly happy person.

Oh yes!!!
Happiness, peace of soul and mind....
everyone goes searching for it....usually in all the wrong places, due to a
distorted view they are made to follow....
One when can escape that trap....world opens up :)

Excellently portrayed :)

A life spent searching for happiness is one true sign of a fruitless existence Contentment breeds happiness everything else is just a pleasure

I like your philosophical works for their simplicity that somehow becomes profound. You're quite right, of course, we strive for what we don't need and lose ourselves in the process. A very ice job and an excellent read.
