Honey Kisses

Honey Kisses

A Poem by Ayanda Mteto
"

The first kiss... one will never forget that first taste of love.

"

Long since I had your kiss the smooch your lips

Your sweet taste with honey ecstasy

Melting your kiss dripping candy dreams

Quivering lips to a river splashing a lustful bliss

Indulging upon the savours of your vanilla cream

Whisked away in breath that weary and entwine

Shivering an icy cold down my spine

Tiring knees with just an osculation of your lips

Awaking fantasy dreams droplets of honey bliss

Upon my heart, high aloft, head over heels in love

Enchanted by your grace you lay upon my lips

Your soul you opened doors to dine your heart

In a rainbow your tears has stop shining your beauty

Glowing glints of eternity you hold my breath

With every touch soft and tender upon my soul

A fevering warmth my lips you give with your kiss

What I like here is the rich imagery and metaphorical ability , a romantic poem in the nicest sense of the word, good work.
