Elixir of WisdomA Poem by Ayanda Mtetoeverything we need is in us.The
central emotion teaches laws of the divine Unspoken
truth lost to ignorant fools Tasting
sin sweet as honey in a morning tea We
drink quenching our arid desire Blowing
dust in the storm of turmoil Man
has never understood the reason he breathes Helpless
in despair astray in his steps Completely
unaware of the origin His
roots that unmask his godly power He
believes is trapped in the inferior polemic of his mind Are
we not still alive when we are dead? Or
are we so lost to premise of death That
we forget the preluded virtues of life? Death
bring change not the end we are benighted The
corners of its mystery are without end Holds
in wonder a travel in search for truth Our
mind is a vessel of God that holds waters of life As
we drink we learn secrets of wisdom How
she teaches her young knowledge of the divine Oracles
she scribe in our spirit How
we reflect him in waters of wisdom The
elixir of his truth. © 2012 Ayanda MtetoReviews
