The StormA Poem by AyameyFor those battling depression, you are loved. Don't give up.
Dark skies with blazing thunder
screams for help heard from behind earthquakes crumbling down under a girl who felt she'd lost her mind. Lightning flashing from behind the only light there was, she feared. Leaving flashes in the night revealing scars, blood, and tears. She'd rather die and see pitch black then witness the storm she was near The thought of dying isn't so bad when you are exposed to so much fear. When she felt she'd simply break she saw the outline of the light. A boy, her heart he'd want to take and bring some sunshine to the night. She'd take a risk to end the storm and let her heart be grabbed even though it was so torn so bloody, scarred, and stabbed. She took a risk, she found the light and let it shine on through. She was happy to live, to be alive no longer was she blue.
