Waterfalls Down High

Waterfalls Down High

A Poem by Nazereth

The beauty of the world
Cannot compare to your love
The balance tight and secured
And singing of a dove

The waterfalls in the jungle
Cannot match the power of your eyes
Dark blue seas, that belong to me
And not to the beings up high

The first snowfall in late autumn
Cannot be seen on your skin
Paleness of the moon endowed
And serenity within

The most beautiful woman
Golden hair braided and long
Cannot stir me, cannot tempt me
Even with perfect song
For your beauty is divine
They cannot change me
You are my love, and I am yours
As long as I have life to see.
