An Ocean Of A Princess CharmingA Poem by Aya Blue
You were just the under current of a tidal wave in the ocean.
You sucked me under, held my breath at your will. I had been tossed around for too long between men, And i guess you too, have had your fill. Even now, as you've released me from your depths, I don't want to leave. I've grown so accustomed to your grasp, That I don't want to breathe. Just beginning, now to see the sun again, I still wish to live in the darkness of your ocean. I don't want to breach the shore and stand. Things get blurry as I watch you leave. Forever wanting to be in your way. Always craving you, for you are all I need. Screaming, begging for you to stay, I collapse to my knees. I look up to the skies and start to pray. Any god that was out there, didn't hear my cries. I brought you back your things. I threw them out to sea. And now I dig this tiny hole. Just big enough to hold A heart, A dream, And A soul. In eternal hopes That one night, You'll see this little grave. And take back the soul, heart And dream, To save. © 2014 Aya BlueFeatured Review
