TangoA Poem by AwduresLive, laugh, learn
Soncopation burns in my feet
Anticipation of the latin beat. Your cheek smooth and warm resting on mine Your hand pressing lightly at the base of my spine. My foot raises slowly our hips start to sway All other couples now melt away. My heart screams allegro, as our fingertips touch In unison moving, I'm held in your clutch. Crimson hem flying, as our legs intertwine, The heat of my eyes on you claim you as mine. You trace down my jawline, and seal with a kiss a passionate Tango, irreverant bliss. © 2010 AwduresFeatured Review
