Dedicated to my Soulmate

I always felt that somewhere there, my destiny is strong.

And i just have to be with faith, the road cannot be wrong.

Searched the places near and far, i never seemed to find.

Heart that goes with my own heart, my search was somehow blind.

In every shape and size of love, i found but none that fits.

All of them were special still, but heart they didn't fix.

Thought that maybe in this way, the result is always same.

I asked the god to light the clues, to love that i can save.

 

 

After time had done its work, the clues were on my way.

They led me to a heart so pure, more than i can say.

It started small but soon was grand, hearts were on the course.

The girl i found has special soul, hearts matched in source.

Distance is the only thing, that we could do without.

But though the ocean in between, i never have the doubt.

I do believe that one day still, we feel the distance small.

And i believe that one day still, we can have it all.

 

 

To stretch my own wings and to fly, i cannot do just yet.

I must be carried on metal wings, on road of pure moonlight.

To fly towards the starry sky, in hope of hearts unite.

Souls apart have been too long, in different daylight.

To land in day i already lived, seems only way to meet.

Better than the one i had, yesterday will become sweet.

Past and future will be one, in very first real touch.

And heart of mine that feels your heart, cares for you so much.

 

 

The dream of day we spend together, will never leave my mind.

And with your fingers twined with mine, i leave all fears behind.

The way we lay on sandy beach, or run in green old hills.

Or how we swim in ocean cold, that later gives us chills.

So by the fire we warm up, between each others arms.

So later we could eat ice cream, and play with our charms.

When the day is up at last, we talk for hours more.

And finally when we're asleep, in dreams we together soar.

 

 

So how i say how much i care, i don't know if i can.

Should i buy you something nice, to show you I'm your man.

Or i just need to care for you, and try treat you right.

And be with you as much i can, to talk with you all night.

I know you'd say that i don't need, to make you fall for me.

That all the love you have for me, is there for all to see.

You'd say to just to be myself, and you will love me too.

I try to write this poem here, to show my love is true.

Theres no way to tell you how, my heart can feel for YOU.

I only can say "I LOVE YOU, I REALLY REALLY DO!!"

Wow this was really sweet. By the end of this I wanted you to be by girl, lol. I really enjoyed reading your heart felt feelings of love in this. It seems that love is truely a topic that will never bore, especially when it's this well written.

Amazing poem your cadence and flow was great. Instead of focusing only on the end word rhymes you gave the poem a breath of free air using a more professional style and keeping it from sounding mechanical like other poem.
