Inspired by a french poem I once heard recited.
Cannot recall the name or anything other than it was about crying and the ocean.
p.s
I have since learned that a better title for the poem is actually "Le froid, la mer insensible". However I am too fond of the current (erroneous) title to switch, and this is just a shout out to the beautiful french-speaking people who have no doubt noted my lax translation skills. I try my best. ^-^

I forget what culture it is that believes the Atlanitc Ocean holds all the world's sorrows. Others believe the Pacific holds the world's memories such that we may forget. I certainly believe that North Atlantic holds the memories of the countless thousands she took, indifferently, over the years. Why should something so vast take any notice of one of us at all? Yet, when I visit her, I feel my sorrows being absorbed into her depths, destroyed by her waves. She doesn't care that I am there, nor does she mourn my leavetaking when inland I must go. Your poem tugs at these feelings for me. My only suggestion is check grammar in the third line; doesn't quite sound right, and shouldn't its be "it's"?
Beautifully written, Vesa Lee
your use of internal, crossed, and half rhyme were so expertly crafted in such a short piece.,, they often go unnoticed.
As we say in English: Excellent

I love his it's so short and simple and so thought provoking.
For tears and moans is all its known
that's my favorite line. It makes you wonder what sadness the ocean knows but the more you think you can understand how the ocean can be the big bold powerful yet miserable sad and sorrowful figure. Amazing!
Much love,

The love child of Emily Dickinson and Stephen Crane? It takes the notion of Crane, Norris, Drieser et al of an unsympathetic and slightly hostile universe and condenses it nicely, making the notion almost gentle. Short, but by no means incomplete.
