I have seen Love

The girl sits timidly in her seat.

The vibrant bouquet covering all but her laughing eyes.

He stares at her intensely, he cannot look away.

Grinning like a little boy...

She looks shyly at the flowers and pretends to breathe their fragrance.

He takes her hand in his.

She smiles, burying her nose deeper into the dewy blossoms.

I wish this light would stay red forever...

But too soon it varies...and they're gone.

.......

But for one moment I saw as God does.

In the longing glances of a love sick groom...

I  witnessed the radiance of pure Love.

Author's Note

A true story about this one time I saw a Bride and Groom (apparently after their wedding) in their "get-away" car stopped at a red light.
It was the way he looked at her, like she was some wonderful secret he had just uncovered, that affected me so much. *smile*

Yes, feeling love, seeing love, the two come so close, because when you see love, you can actually feel it yourself, even if only for a moment. love is an amazing thing, it is what makes the stars shine at night, or keeps the moon hung in the sky, it is the reason for the rotation of the earth, and the waves on the beach... The beating of the heart and the breathing at ones lips.
