Surrender

Surrender

A Poem by The Green Mountaineer
"

Sometimes in love you become so insecure that you end up messing up all that you have.. I have done the same with someone who had a lot of expectations from me. I promise I will bring back everything.

"

I am a beast,
Until the day this mortal life fades away
Spellbound, I remain in this labyrinth of love.
So, be gentle in your cruelty
Please cast aside your mask
Shed your cloak of platinum radiance.

I want to see your uncovered face,
The twinkle in your eyes that reveals mischief,
The impish faint smile playing on your lips,
I’ll keep my eyes on you
‘Cause I can’t take my eyes off you
I want to learn the mystery that’s you.

I have a secret to tell you
My passion is only for you
For your touch revives me
Your taste a spell that binds me
I want to hold you,
To surrender to your heart.

Please don’t fill my heart with wounds
I’m like a puppet on a string
Completely in your control
Shameless, I’ll fulfill your want
But amidst this carnival let me discover you
Oh, please show me your face.

I am a beast who’s madly in love
Drowning in the river of lust
Dreaming of you, reaching for your heart
Don’t look away, don’t turn me away
I shall heal you with my trust
To you I surrender my heart.
