This is Life

The poem is about how you have to face Life...

The bitter moments that hurt your soul

The pleasant thoughts that make you smile

The tear of joy falling from your eyes

The fearful path that you might have chose

What is done is never undone

What has left is always left

Its always been a matter of birth and death

But what you should see is that Choice in between

Life may be short but its worth living

So take all those chances you can ever get

Laugh while you can

Love with all your heart

Imagine with your mind

Achieve with all your might

You are you and is so much true

So open your eyes and see the world

This is life

And its your only chance……

This poem is the first poem I wrote when I was at the age of 13...I kind of think its not good but still wished to share it...Please tell me your opinion.

I agree with your thought living life as if it is our last chance. This one is very generous but at age of 13 thinking like this may be not possible I guess.
I like this poem this is so truth of life that everyone need to know, understand and accept it lovely.
