Write

Felt like writing something Instead of letting my mind spiral.

I pick up my pen, place the tip on a paper.
Maybe I'll write a poem, maybe a prayer.
But I know I'll write something, something.
It may not be perfect, just thoughts lingering.
I'll write like I can write all my fears away.
Or I can finally put to words all I'm scared to say.
The hurt that maybe I just imagine.
These words turn to magic.
They feel my heart bleeding.
See my body sinking.
I will write till the voices die.
Till I no longer have to hide.
Each word, a release of my bottled mind.
Sometimes I'm scared of what I'll find.
But still I write.
And I will write.

Changing the last to this line suits more, don't you think?
This is a very relatable poem for all the writers. What I like the most is the truth in this that when we simply hold a pen to write we are not sure what may come but it comes from within and that is the beauty of writing. I loved this.
