O Fate

O Fate

A Poem by Avia

O Fate, fickle mistress of time

Take my hands and read my destiny

I beg of you, give me hope

For I have lost all that holds me within

My last breath hangs on your words

Don’t call my end so near

Give me time to be happy

Now that I have learned how

Call death away from my door

O Destiny, smile upon me today.

hmmm I feel like this is some one who relized they wasted there life and is on there death bed. Only then they found the meaning of life. They see all there lost moment and chances and wished they took more time to smell the roses so to speak. This is a person who knows there only chance is with fate, that maybe they will have more shot to get it right.

Absolutely loved your poem. You offered the situation in which a being realizes that their life has been full regrets, or unaccomplished goals. Well done.

BEAUTIFUL! The intricacy of the thoughts that this poem is trying to convey is so beautifully knitted that I am struck. Loved it!

Thanks a lot. Such nice words :)
Free will and Destiny, there is a very fine line between them. But, we should try to give our best. Some people get the bad Cards, yet still win the Game by making the best choices. This is Life. Play it like a PRO!

It seems like a prayer and a pleading request to be heard and fulfilled. Well done.
