My Apologies

I know my apologies have become more frequent.
Lately i do much harm that's unintended.
I'm sorry that I'm not the way i would have liked to be.
I'm sorry that the words i utter can be so brash and mean.
I didn't think i could meet someone like you.
I didn't ever really mean to hurt you.
I'm sorry that it seems I'm playing with your heart.
I'm just very confused, and that's really hard.
The last thing i want is to make you sad and cry.
Because you always make me smile and happy.
I really don't know what else to tell you.
I just want to be happy, and i want that for you too.

I liked this. I can understand your emotions they were well portrayed. However, I didn't understand this line
