Replacing Us

Replacing Us

A Poem by Avery James

Your eyes are an

     effortless smile.

A wink to the troubles of the world

and a smirk to the

                irony of sincerity.

I love you flawlessly

without a doubt or      purity

that  grants  chance a breath.

 We wake to

internal alarms

and gaze into the smiles of

     efforless eyes.

First of all i like the picture it fits the poem well, so nice.
And this is a great piece the idea that our eys smile without
even trying was written so perfectly. Your formatting is on point
to very you.

We wake to
internal alarms
and gaze into the smiles of
efforless eyes.

my favorite lines i love how you kept everything so human in this poem.
Our 'internal alarms' and 'wink to the trouble of the world' great poem!
