Told You So

Told You So

A Poem by Avery James

I hate to say that I told you so.

With the rising and setting

the touching and kissing

the smoking and drinking

the talking and dancing

and now- smiling.

There are no words for this. Poetry cannot describe this. I can't try to fight this.

There's no drug for this feeling. I can't

smoke

snort

drink

this high.

To anyone who doubted it: I told you so.
