One Man's Trash, Another Man's Treasure

One Man's Trash, Another Man's Treasure

A Poem by Avery James

 Moles of unknown,

balancing equations.

Conjugation of verbs,

language association.

No matter what class,

you captivate my mind.

It's sad to think,

one day I'll leave this subject behind.

More than a pound

has touched our hands.

We've seen it in smaller portions

dimes, dubs, and halves.

No one can count

how many swishers we've tasted

Grape, Peach, and Strawberry

NOT A SCOOBY SNACK TO BE WASTED!

It started with a smile,
A look upon your face.
If I’d only known then,
That you come with mistakes.
It progressed to conversations
Deep into the night.
I was so much like you
I fought the feeling, I fought the sight.

Just some spare poems I piled together that weren't finished or I didn't consider good enough to give a title. So, just for funsies. :)

This one wasn't as easy to read as your others, but still good!

The poems that I have read must have a subliminal recurring theme because I can relate to every one of them. I like it.
