Into the mirror there I see,
A girl who reflects a past glee.
Her brown eyes masking the truth
That was exposed to her in her youth
While her brown tangled mess falls on down
Hiding her eyes and small pink frown.
The reflection is nothing but a monster
That never learned any of the answers.
To me it's nothing but this hideous beast
That prowls inside and waits to be released.
The mirror image glares through the glass
Screaming words that destroyed the past.
"You are nothing but an ugly soul
Who people wish they could just push down a hole."
I fight to not cry from the words the girl just spoke
While the girl in front of me smirks at my failure to cope.
The opposite picture enjoys the sight of my pain
That is played like a broken record over and over again.
She is the reason why I want to cry at night
For this reflection is the monster behind my fright.
Telling me how no one could ever love a foul
Who would be better off being a ghoul.
"Look me in the eyes you stupid girl
Can't you see the way you make people want to hurl?"
For a moment, I look up to meet the fiery gaze
Yet all she does is smirk and sneer, sending me closer to the grave.
"You will always be alone
For everyone is better, even a simple drone."
She states, stepping out of the mirror shoving me back
As I fall down on my knees while everything spins to black.
