Awakening: Final Chapter

Awakening: Final Chapter

A Chapter by Double T

Years of being blindfolded

The blind comes off

The time of having the earplugs on

They are finally coming

Now I can see and hear

After being asleep for slow long

I am finally awake

So many nightmares

So many bad dreams

They kept on coming

But now they finally stop

The blackness filling up my mind has become a door

A door to a much peaceful and meaningful dream

A dream to enjoy and love

With all of the pieces coming together like a puzzle

With all of the points connected

I have finally found what I was looking for

Love through truth

At first I was blinded to see it

I could not even hear it

But now that I realize of what it meant

I can finally see the truth for what it is

And hear what it is trying to tell

I was falling asleep in my own lie

That everything was all right

But it only hindered my chances of moving forward

The one who was letting the nightmares in was me

Because I wouldn’t accept myself through my flaws

But now the light has came forward

To pave my way to a peaceful dream to look forward too

It is through accepting it and us despite our flaws

Our character is the piece we need to improve on

Now I am awake

Seeing the truth and hearing for what it is saying

The awakening of light has begun

And it begins with us
