This poem is about the better sweet trials letting go of your friend

You have been with me

At the age when we were kids  

Since the beginning we met

You had become a friend to me  

 

You have been a good friend

In the brightest of times you cheer me up

Through the darkest of days you bring me up

 

You are a good friend and a loyal supporter

I have been with you too

Doing the same things you have done for me

Cheering up in the brightest times

Bringing you up in the darkest days

You and I are the same

Only different, but still the same

 

Now this is it

The time has come

For us to depart where are destinies bring us to

Where fate has been bringing us to next

The place where our dreams come true

The time is finally here now

 

It is a gloom state to prosper

It is a sad time to be in

But it is the only price to pay

 

But before I go

I have made something to you

Something I made when we first

A gift

 

A gift that reminds us of all of the time we spent

All of the people we met

Being the examples we have set

All of the places we have been

Is right here in this box

For all of the wonderful times we had

 

Do not think of this as forever

I will always be here
