The Shades and Brightness of New York City Stardom

The Shades and Brightness of New York City Stardom

A Poem by Double T
"

Based on the hit song "Numb/Encore" by Jay-Z featuring Linkin Park

"
The city of New York
The Great Big Apple
You could bite it
And taste the freshness of the culture exprience

With the a dream of being on the tope,
It's never easy
Like going up on floor in the Empire State Building

Stardom is a building set display of our dreams
The pieces are steps to build up to stardom
And the instructions are the wisdom we have
So start building
There maybe mis-steps along the way
But hey,
It's worth it

The art flows through your work
Like a subway train going through a tunnel

The camera flashes
Feel the brightness of joy
Your dream lights up like the Rockfeller Center Christmas Tree

New York City stardom
It shines bright
But the shades of it compelling
