News at the Night

The in-debt look into the world of night crawlling.

To the news that is covered at the night

There is more to it then meets the eye

 

In reporting the news at day

Is to search for something that is interesting

During the morning and afternoon

Like searching for a mouse that is looking for a bread corm on the floor

 

In reporting the news at night

Is to look for a light in the dark

But in most of the night

There is more to the night news than recording a car chase in the helicopter

More to it then explaining a murder without reason of what happened

The exact evidence of boosting ratings is nocturnal phase

It is night crawling

 

Nightcrawling is the footage technique of getting the dirt of a car crash and crime scene

They arrive there fast before the police or ambulance arrive

Like a raccoon arriving at the trashcan before the neighbors can suspect  

Filming everything behind the camera like an owl watching the prey

The incidents that they come for are heard from the police scanners

Wording the incident on a police scanner is the scent of a night crawler

The graphic nature of the incident boosts the ratings of channel

The more graphic, the more better

The more ratings that go up

The more higher the numbers of the paycheck goes

So it’s blood money by filming blood of the incident

 

The creatures are only there to film

Not to interfere

Not to help

But getting the footage and getting out of the scene before the authorities arrive

Because if they arrive when the nightcrawler is at incident first

It’s the time of raising questions being answered

Or it’s a night in the cell for with holding evidence for more ratings

With nightcrawling, it requires careful timing and thought out planning

 

With this technique

It sometimes makes us crack

Into ambition addicts

Which drives over line of good and bad

And into the line of pure blur gray

 

To outside of journalism

Is to printout and tell the truth

With hard substance coming long before the investigation concludes

Reporting the aftermath of incident is that outside rule

Being there after the authorities come

Both day and night

 

But with inside of journalism

It is the core that makes it interesting

With nightcrawling a part of it

Glamorizing and getting the truth

Getting the footage before the authorities arrive

Like filming a kid stomping on a pile of cockroaches

Which makes the film of it interesting

Interesting part of the truth in before time is the hook of it

 

To the good things of telling the truth

With reasons that are compelling

How far will we go into the night with getting facts?

What choices will we do to make substance interesting?
