The Beauty of AmericaA Poem by Double TInspired from the Oscar-award winning film American Beauty
America
Home of the Proud Land of the Brave. The Beauty of it blooms It is the rose being held at your hand But you have to get through the thorns For every rose has its thorn, as it is in life. To embrace the beauty of life, is to hold the roses thorns. With the glove of passion, and the Garden Hat of Happiness. Along with the Cutters of No Regrets. Smell it. The scent of success and the self-happiness. Coming into your nose. Filling you up with everything good about your self. Life is a garden. Grounded by the Dirt of reality. The beauty of it is at a piece of a rose. The Beauty of American life is at a touch and smell of a rose. © 2015 Double TAuthor's Note
