Narcissistic TheaterA Poem by Double TInspired from the hit movie BirdmanThe New York City Theater The mother of stage plays A place of where the dream of acting is realized In the name of it is called Broadway
To every play in the theater It must be done right with effort and thought It is like painting that the artist must get right in doing
it And a lot thought of doing it
The artist is shapes the play in three ways Story, direction, and cinematography The story of the play must be true and realized The direction of it has to be solid The cinematography must be beautiful and polished Like a clean boot It must fit in to art of the play Or it will crumble like a wall of bricks That is how the artist must shape the play
The actors or actresses are chosen well for the characters of
the story Like good chips that activate a computer very well The roles of the characters are responsibilities of the
actor It depends on how well the time is given to performer For that person to accept the role and enhance it This is the experience of being in the role of the character
Our dreams of being on the top are too dear to let go With hard work and dedication, it’s harder to forget it If we let go of something that we put the most heart in Then the engine of it will not operate and function
When we take the roles seriously and do it over the top It is creating the perfect mirror of us When the camera lights flash to our faces The lights telling us that our dreams are now It is called the ego
In the personality of the ego The reality of our dreams begin to shift into the real world
We begin to tell future of our success that is to come The power of self-importance begins to test our sanity Shifting of our desires into the real world We begin to enjoy the beauty of our ego It is the flower we chose not to let rot That is the experience of our ego
When someone begins to take our roles We begin to question that person No matter what the reason is Envy is the perfect word to enhance it
Through taking the roles serious We begin to have a sense of enlightenment Meaning that we have the expectations of favorable treatment
Even if those expectations are unreasonable
We intend to be special in our roles Even if we put our hearts into it But our personalities begin shift in the process The ego shows arrogance in our displays Making our sanity more difficult to hold
In the show business of Broadway The New York Theatre is a store of our dreams of going to
the top But every item in a store has a price So there are two choices Go into theatre and live the dream while paying a price Or walk away and find a new dream Its up to you © 2015 Double T |
