The Reality of PTSDA Poem by Double TThe indepth look inside Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. This is by far the most anticipated poem I've wanted to write.Post Traumatic Stress Disorder The sequence that ripples your sight of reality The shortage in your head that buzzes you
Bloodiness in brutal combat Violated or mistreated hardly in your childhood Witnessing an attack on America with your very eyes Accidents in hard ways In the middle of a disaster Assaulted in a sexual way or a physical way Those are the events that catch the shortage
Relieving the event Avoiding the different situation that clicks on the
event again Transferring your consciousness to nightmare of the
event Taking you to the flashback of the event like looking
for long lost DVDs in the attic Beliefs and feelings of negativity Steel alertness and the lookout for danger Those are the signs of the shortage
There are treatments that sever the buzzing They are cognitive behavioral and eye movement
reprocessing
Cognitive behavioral is the learning treatment Having the understanding Of the changes in thoughts and feelings Caused by the trauma Talk about the trauma over and over again until the
buzzing fades Like cleaning the junk out the bathtub
Eye movement reprocessing is the senses treatment Focusing on the hand movement and sounds While talking about the buzzing Like jogging on the sidewalk of Central Park, New
York City While listening to clam music
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is an unfortunate
thing to have in life Treatments are necessary But know you’re not alone There are others with same conditions Like a new species being born © 2015 Double TAuthor's Note
